The Bathing Ceremony is one of the traditional ceremonies of the Minangkabau community which is carried out as a form of gratitude for the birth of a child to the world, while also putting the baby in the community. This Bathing Ceremony is held in a river (water stem), with a procession procession. The ceremony itself can only be carried out in Batang Air or the River.
